Garden Project: October 4
Come to coffee hour on the Feast of St. Francis to enjoy some fresh fruits and vegetables, and to see what is planned for the Outreach Garden. At the parish Dreaming Day, when parishioners were asked what their dreams were for St. Stephen’s, we repeatedly heard the phrase “Outreach Garden to help feed the hungry”. So a planning group was formed in May, researched the idea, and developed a plan they are passionate about.
During coffee hour on October 4 that plan will be shared with the parish. Come to learn where the garden will be located, what it will look like, how the produce will be distributed, and what the plans are for funding it. See you there!

We picked up our final check on Friday, August 31st, and (with the Erie Community Foundation match) we grossed $26,164.32! In addition, another member of the congregation has given a $5,000 gift alongside Erie Gives. All of these contributions help close our operating gap for this year. Many, many thanks to all who give so generously.
Does your company make matching gifts? If so, your Erie Gives donation is eligible!
